Produces costs and indexes for civil construction through the surveying of prices for materials and wages paid in civil construction for the housing sector. The System was expanded in 1997, when it started to include the sanitation and infrastructure sector. It has as a collection unit the suppliers of construction materials and the construction companies in the sector. The System is produced in partnership with Caixa Econômica Federal - CAIXA. Information on sanitation and infrastructure only includes data relative to prices. The survey was first conducted in 1969 for the habitation sector and in 1997 for the sanitation and infrastructure sectors. |
